Who I am

And how it all began

As a first-grader I gave my grandparents failing marks for their dictations and wanted to be a teacher because a teacher has power. Later I rebelled against that power, and in the Scouts I learned that power lies not in dominance but in cooperation and the ability to do great things.

Children are the ones with the power to change the world, and the things they do every day are gigantic, so vast that they go beyond the children themselves. I try to awaken the same energy in adults. I love my work because it gives me the power to help this miracle along and so serve humanity.
